Marelize Van Zyl, Oral Health Therapist (Adult Scope)
Marelize is an Oral Health Therapist who is passionate about helping patients feel confident and comfortable in the dental chair. Growing up with a unique perspective from her mother’s work as a dentist and her father’s expertise as a dental technician, Marelize developed an early appreciation for the transformative power of oral health care. She graduated from Central Queensland University with a Bachelor of Oral Health Therapy.
Marelize believes that dentistry is more than just treating teeth—it’s about empowering patients with the knowledge and confidence to take control of their oral health for life. With her warm and welcoming approach, she ensures that every patient feels valued and supported on their journey to a healthier smile.

Outside of Shenton Park Village Dental, Marelize loves spending time outdoors, whether it’s relaxing at the beach, running, or hitting the gym to stay active. When the opportunity arises, she indulges her adventurous spirit by heading to the slopes for snowboarding. She has a creative side and enjoys painting as a way to unwind.
