Kristi Viitkar, Oral Health Therapist (Adult Scope)
As an Oral Health Therapist, Kristi enjoys helping our patients feel good about their smiles. She graduated from Curtin University with qualifications in Oral Health Therapy and also holds a degree in Human Biology and Anatomy from the University of Western Australia.
Before moving into clinical care, Kristi spent more than 10 years as a dental technician, building a strong understanding of the technical side of dentistry that continues to inform her work today.
Originally from Estonia, where her family still lives, Kristi began her dental career behind the scenes in dental technology. Over time, she felt drawn to a more patient-focused role, where she could combine her technical knowledge with prevention and education in a hands-on setting.
A Warm and Reassuring Presence
When new patients meet Kristi, they’ll likely notice she’s warm and easy to talk to. She takes the time to listen and aims to create a relaxed environment where people feel comfortable asking questions and discussing their concerns.
She enjoys building genuine connections with patients and helping visits feel comfortable and positive, especially for those who feel nervous or unsure about dental appointments. Kristi especially enjoys working with children and families, supporting positive dental experiences and encouraging healthy habits from an early age.
