Meet Dr Amman Sall, Dentist
Dr Amman takes a caring, patient-centred approach to dentistry at Shenton Park Village Dental. She recognises that dental visits can feel daunting for some people, and she aims to help patients feel more at ease through a calm, supportive manner and genuine connection.
“Dentistry is not the most pleasant for some people, and I want to try and change that. I love that each patient is different, and I enjoy the problem-solving aspect, interacting with people, and building relationships.”
Education and Professional Background
Amman graduated from the University of Plymouth in the UK with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. During her studies, she developed a strong interest in the detailed nature of restorative dentistry and the way oral health connects with overall wellbeing. She has a particular interest in the health-focused aspects of dentistry, rather than aesthetics alone.

A Personal Reason She Chose Dentistry
Amman’s path into dentistry was shaped by her own experience. She had quite crooked teeth as a child and understands how dental concerns can affect confidence. That early experience helped spark her interest in supporting others and the positive impact a thoughtful dental plan can have. She enjoys the blend of science and creativity in dentistry, as well as the variety each day brings.
Additional Training
Amman has completed additional training in posterior onlays. This is a minimally invasive option that can help preserve natural tooth structure in certain cases, depending on the tooth and your individual needs.
Beyond the Practice
When she’s not in the clinic, Amman is passionate about self-development and ongoing learning. She enjoys reading, meditation, and journalling, and is a self-described serial hobbyist – currently exploring bookbinding.
